In my next choice, Mr. Ripley is sent to, paid to, retrieve a spoiled brat. Er, that was the plan anyway. That didn't quite happen. This week's choice for popcorn consumption viewing is The Talented Mr. Ripley, 1999. Matt Damon (1) plays the conniving Mr. Ripley. Jude Law is Dickie and Philip Seymour Hoffman (2) is the friend. And to improve the scenery, we have Gwyneth Paltrow (3) and Cate Blanchett (4) too.
