The Day of the Jackal (1973) is another movie adapted from a novel. Frederick Forsyth wrote the book in 1971 with a backdrop of France in the summer of '63. It is a nice little political thriller, wait, is this an Englishman looking for a Frenchman? I don't see any undertones there. It's actually a Frenchman looking for an Englishman looking for a Frenchman on Paris Liberation Day. Who will succeed first? Not who you think. Staring as the two protagonist are Edward Fox (1) and Michael Lonsdale (2). Enjoy this week's selection. Your Alfa Spider, what color was it?

(1) Never Say Never Again, 1983

(2) Moonraker, 1979

...Couple of Bond movies
