Week XII

Updated: Feb 3, 2023

I feel like another Clint Eastwood Picture. A western. A spaghetti western. They are called spaghetti westerns because the director/writer Sergio Leone happened to be Italian. Which is funny because they are mostly filmed in Spain. Both Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef are in this week's film and it's the weekly selection, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966). Clint being the good. Lee being the bad. And the ugly, well? Eli Wallach (1). It's also the 3rd film in what's become to be known as the 'Dollars Trilogy' (2)...

(1) How to Steal a Million, 1966. That's not a western, it's a comedy.

(2) For a Few Dollars More (1965) and A Fistful of Dollars (1964), Hell, make it a triple feature.
