This week's film, to me, is more note worthy for it's female lead. The 19 year old Lauren Bacall (1) in her first silver screen appearance. A stage actress but never the lead. She knocked it out of the park. Can you shimmy? The male lead in this film is, wait, I can't remember, oh, Humphrey Bogart (2). With the ugly hair cuts.
