La Soixante et Unième Semaine

Since we are on stories from the the 1820's, there's this story of a frontiersman named Hugh Glass and how he survived the rather rough year of 1823, for him anyway. There are only 2 good movies based on the story. One being Man in the Wilderness (1971) staring Richard Harris. The other, and the recommended film of the week, is The Revenant (2015). Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Hugh Glass. One thing I noticed early were the long uncut scenes, minutes long. I watched it again and enjoyed it more...
