Stories within stories. Millennium (2010) is a miniseries based on the the award winning, best selling novels written by the journalist Stieg Larson. Unfortunately, he passed away entirely to young. He only completed 3 books of the his planned 10 part series. These were first turned into 3 movies; The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest. All released at different times in 2009. These all star Michael Nyqvist (1) and Noomi Rapace (2) as the leads. There is an American release that stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara of only the first novel. It's better to watch the Swedish releases because the actors playing the characters are consistent all the way through. In 2010 they put together a 6 part mini series from the movies called Millennium and this is the recommendation for the week. And I do have an English speaking versions. And they are long, about an hour and half each. Oh, it's worth it. Be careful who you abuse, they may return the favor, or it could be returned from somewhere else...
