Kingdom of Heaven (2005) is a very fictionalized portrayal of the life of Balian d'Ibelin. I don't believe he was a blacksmith. But he did join a 12th century crusade and came to the aid of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. It stars Orlando Bloom (1), he seems to do a lot of sword wielding movies. Another film directed by Ridley Scott, it also stars Eva Green (2) and Jeremy Irons (3). Oh, by the way, it's the selection for the week...
