One thing I can say about Robert Duvall (1) is he can make one heck of a western. He and Thomas Church both won Emmy's for their performances. This week's recommendation is, actually, it's a two episode TV movie miniseries. It's about a three hour watch. Well worth two bags of popcorn. And, the name of the western is, Broken Trail (2006).
This is another movie that floats between history and fiction. A tale told between the history of the Chinese west coast slave trade and the British buying American horses in the late 19th century...
