The next selection is a Henry Fonda vigilante western. It's another film adapted for the big screen from a novel of the same name. It was written by Walter Van Tilburg Clark and is his first published book. This week's movie was also nominated for a Best Picture Oscar. It stars Harry Morgan as Fonda's partner and Anthony Quin as one of the accused. Can't say to much about it, don't want to spoil it. In 1998 it was selected for the National Film Registry. The Ox-Bow Incident (1942) is the popcorn eating film for this week.
