Knotgrass, Flittle and Thistlewit make this week's selection well worth the watch. Who are they? Well, they are Fairies. They come from the fairy tale 'La Belle au bois Dormant', or Dornröschen' or just 'Sleeping Beauty', written by Charles Perrault. Well, he is not the original author, but he does get the credit for being the first to write down and publish these old folk tales. His book, published in 1697, is titled 'Tales and Stories of the Past with Morals'. Let's not get this confused with the Brothers Grimm versions that were published 100 years later. By the way, this will be a double feature fantasy recommendation for the week. Staring in the title role as the former Queen of the Moors Maleficent (2014), is Angelina Jolie. And it's sequel, Mistress of Evil (2019).
