This week we have another movie with the backdrop of war, the American Civil War, where the main character tries to remain neutral. This being James Stewart as the patriarch of a Shenandoah Valley family with six sons, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law. He's also a widower and not real happy about it. It doesn't take long before his neutrality comes into jeopardy. I'll just say kids will be kids and he has to take some actions. Also staring Katherine Ross (1), this week's selection for your afternoon matinee entertainment is Shenandoah from 1965.
