By chance, I decided to pull out some Tom Clancy classics for some afternoon viewing pleasure. And, low and behold, I discovered a perfect double feature matinee. So, this will be the recommendation for this week. The cast of actors carries through both films. Makes it an easy choice. Harrison Ford stars as Jack Ryan and in the first one, Patriot Games (1992), he's either in the wrong place at the right time? Or, the right place at the wrong time. Well, you watch it and decide. That does lead to Jack getting a new job, from a teacher to a CIA analyst. And in the second one, Clear and Present Danger (1994), he learns what a joy it is to work for the corrupt US government. The Admiral, his boss on the second selection, is played by James Earl Jones. And Ann Archer stars as Jack's wife.
