Since we just mentioned it, might as well do a Star Trek. A sort'f double feature Star Trek. Let's start with episode 22 of season 1 of the original series, Space Seed (1967). Here we were introduced to Khan Noonien Singh played by Ricardo Montalban. This ties directly to the selected film of the week, Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan (1982). You need to know the wrath part of it, so watch the original series episode. Khan is such a 'player'. In the Star Trek reboot, Star Trek Into Darkness (2013), the whole story is told a wee bit differently...
