Or The Hustler (1961) sequel The Color of Money (1986) (a)? Did ya know Paul Newman got him into auto racing? The Last Samurai (2003), let's make this the selection for the week. A few conflicts with life bring him to a posting overseas and eventually a prisoner, well, sort'f, a prisoner. I call these types of movies a historical farce.
