The backdrop for the next selections is the early 1800's English aristocracy. Well? lack of a title is part of the problem. Mr. Bennet has quite a few pounds and no son who can inherit them. He does have a wife and five daughters. But, they can't inherit it either. And, thus, the fun begins. Finding wealthy and well educated husbands for their daughters. And one daughter does not want to participate. A short long story. If you have never seen proper English manners and etiquette, you're in for a treat.
