I'm thinking a 'Queen of Scream' family triple feature. Er, double feature. Did you just say who? From the Scream Queen herself, Jamie Lee Curtis; no, not that film. Yes, I've seen it and don't like horror pictures. Also staring Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy, the comedy Trading Places (1983) is the first selection. Anyone buying orange juice futures? And now her ma, Janet Leigh, where the scream and the frame come from (clearing throat). No, not that movie either. I have not seen that one and you know why. Her ma is in films recommended in two other weeks. She's Paul Newman's wife in Harper (week 221) and Charlton Heston's wife in Touch of Evil (week 158). Yes, she can play a wife. And from her daddy, the pretty boy Tony Curtis himself; Don't believe he has done a horror film that I won't watch. The second selection will be Sweet Smell of Success (1957) staring Burt Lancaster as the newspaper columnist, who happens to be a socialite's best friend or worst nightmare... And that's the triple. I mean double, feature selection for this week.
