So, Year 5, Blog number 1... Well, aren't we special...

I try not to do the obvious ones, but these two films go together so well. So, a twin recommendation for this week. Both historical biopics from a time in history we should never forget. One is about Oskar Schindler, a Nazi Party member and a German Industrialist. The other is about the musician Wladyslaw Szpilman's survival of Nazi occupied Poland. If you didn’t guess it already, Schindler's List (1993) is the obvious one. It is to me anyway. And the film I planned to be the lone recommendation for this week, The Pianist (2002). This would be a seven plus three Oscar wins' double feature...
