Oskar Werner (1) is a talented actor who didn't make many films. Of the few he did do I found several that I really enjoyed. An obvious one is Fahrenheit 451 (1966), where Oskar plays a 'fireman'. If you've not seen it, then watch it, then you will understand what a 'fireman' does. It's a must see SciFi classic. Another good watch is Ship of Fools (1965), where Oskar got a nomination for an Oscar. It's a story about a cast of characters on an ocean liner trip across the Atlantic in the early '30s. Key word, characters. For this week, I'll recommend his film Decision Before Dawn (1951). Part of it was filmed in Wurzburg, Germany. A place I've visited. I've walked across the bridge and have toured the Burg. It starts a little slow but builds into a nice intense WWII spy drama. Is he a hero or traitor?
