Time to feature another director. Let's do Academy Award winner Ridley Scott (1), but not one of those sci-fi films. Already recommended Prometheus in week 20 and Blade Runner was the selection in week 54. I'm selecting a biographical film about the smuggler Frank Lucas. Who happens to be born in North Carolina. Maybe I shouldn't admit that? American Gangster (2007) will be the selection for this week. Denzel Washington plays Frank, with Russell Crowe (2) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (3) as prominent parts of the cast.
