This week's recommendation will be about one of my favorite character actors. The diminutive Laszlo Lowenstein, or Peter Lorre (1). Yes! Mr. Moto himself. What?! You've never seen these little gems? He did 8 movies in that series from '37 to '39. Well worth watching and laughing once. He also stared in two of my all time favorites, Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) and Casablanca (1942). Those fall under my 'must see' rating system. For this week Lorre stars in the film-noir classic as The Face Behind the Mask (1941). He just wanted to be a watchmaker.
