Another selection for the spy movie fan for this week's blog. The writer has had several novels adapted for the silver screen. The writer being Frederick Forsyth. One of his novels, published in 1971, was released into theaters in 1973 and is titled The Day of the Jackal (week 178). The other was not very good. It's a political thriller staring Edward Fox and Michael Lonsdale. Another good watch staring Michael Caine and Pierce Bronson is The Fourth Protocol from 1987. That novel was published in 1984. Will they discover it in time? For this week The Odessa File (1974) will be the recommendation. Forsyth published the novel in 1972.
